My good friend Carly and I decided to make collage’s about one another…This is my collage of Carly Margolis. Working on this piece made me think that I would like to make a series of “alter collages” for the special women in my life. So, this is the first… a great way to spend a sunday… enjoy.

unearthen

unearthencrystals

I am really loving Unearthen crystals. I think the philosophy behind the work is really beautiful…
“It is possible that most Unearthen pieces have already chosen their bearers. The uniting of the crystal and empty bullet creates a powerful opposition, causing old dreams and new beginnings to fall upon its bearer. For this reason, the stone with the right properties for your needs will inherently attract you.”
The Unearthen site is really beautiful too. check it out.. www.seeunearthen.com

bahamapainting

Had a great time. Rested and recharged, ready to jump back in…

I saw this amazing painting hanging in a local restaurant. They didn’t know the name of the artist and I couldn’t make it out on the painting itself. I do know it’s a Bahamian artist though. Anybody recognize it??

Louis DeCarlo aka Larry Deluxe is a photographer, musician, artist, world traveller, madman, and probably the funniest person I know. He is also my uncle. Louis is an inspiration to me, he lives his life freely, as an adventurer and true creative. We share the love of India and have been planning for years to do a project there together. He photographs everything from musicians in Edinburgh, where he resides, to landscapes and portraits all over the world. His photos are moving and each one tells a story far better then anything I could write about them here…
