What is your name, and what do you do at Mara Hoffman?
I'm Qori. I'm the Keyholder right now at the store.
How would you describe yourself outside of a work context?
I'm an artist. I'm a photographer, a painter—that's what I try and focus my time on. I work with a good friend of mine and we're just trying to make stuff and get it published.
What's your favorite Mara Hoffman piece of all time?
I think the Sloan dress because it's just so classic and it's so my every day style. But since I started working here, probably the Juniper. I love that thing. I ended up getting the full-sleeve one, but I think the Juniper is so pretty, and it fits so cute.
I love that. How would you describe your personal style?
I guess, all over the place? I try and teeter between super-fem and super-masc. I think the continual thread in my style is always sexy and understated. Sexy or a very obvious sexy.

This is a more masculine, comfortable style that I went with, something that just feels comfortable to run around in and also that I know is flattering. I love a good pair of denim. I've got a little bit of shape so it's nice to know that these fit me in a very flattering way. I also paired my Martha bodysuit with my Susan skirt to give an illusion of a slim-fitting maxi dress. I love the convenience of two-piece looks but love the elegance of a long black dress. Also, if it's a ribbed knit, it's probably in my closet. I prioritize comfort in my wardrobe and love both the bodysuit and the skirt because they're comfortable and super flattering.
What are you most looking forward to this holiday season?
Probably seeing my dad's family. It's been a couple years. COVID had a huge impact on seeing them, so I'm happy to go see family this year.
What are some pieces you're looking forward to giving or receiving?
I think probably the winter accessories. I love giving people things that are useful. If you're going to use it every day, I think it's a perfect gift for you. I also see a criminal amount of my friends not wearing hats or gloves in the winter in the city, so I'm like, "Please keep yourself warm."
What is your name? What do you do at Mara Hoffman?
I'm Colleen Cunningham. I'm the merchandise buyer at Mara Hoffman.
How would you describe yourself outside a work context?
I'm pretty laid back. I like to go to yoga and concerts and hang with friends. I like to play with my dog, Willow. She's a Husky Aussie mix.
What is your favorite Mara Hoffman piece of all time?
My Gia pants. They're off-white denim pants coming back in core in February. They're just the perfect fit and I wear them four times a week. I bought two pairs of them in black.
How would you describe your personal style?
Also pretty laid back and cozy. I like to layer and mix and match with vintage.

This is what I wear when it's cold outside. I just got this Adrian Jacket last month and I've been wearing it a lot. I'm not much of a dress person, but this dress I just love. The other outfit, that's what I'm going to wear to Thanksgiving and I love it. I like the mix of the denim and the hemp pants.
What are you most looking forward to this holiday season?
I think just relaxing and being with family. Taking a break.
What are some pieces you're looking forward to giving or receiving?
I like giving gifts. I think a couple of family members will be getting this scarf or a beanie. And the candle, everyone's going to get a Mara Hoffman candle.
What is your name, and what do you do at Mara Hoffman?
I'm Jill. I'm the associate designer at Mara Hoffman.
How would you describe yourself outside of work context?
I’m a little more relaxed. I like to go shopping, whether that's online or in store. I like to go hiking. I took that up during the pandemic just to ground myself a little bit more because work gets busy.
What's your favorite Mara Hoffman piece of all time?
I feel like the one that sticks out to me the most is the Melia. It's this black dress with white embroidery on it. It's beautiful.
How would you describe your personal style?
My personal style is minimal and elevated. I have a lot of practical pieces and then tend to have focal points that I use whether that's a fun jacket, or a fun shoe, or fun trousers. I’m a trouser girl. I have a whole bunch of nice pants I collect.

This Melanie dress is a go-to. I’m always wearing black, so I feel comfortable in this and I feel beautiful in it. The other look is my practical go-to. I love the way the silhouette of the Martha denim looks. It's a simple style but it's still elevated and chic and you look stylish.
What are you most looking forward to this holiday season?
Spending time with my family. Getting a break. My personal order, I can't wait to get that! We have a lot new fun styles coming out in the resort collection.
What are some pieces you're looking forward to giving or receiving?
I'm really looking forward to receiving the Lucienne dress. It's this knit long dress with beautiful piping across the chest and the center front. I definitely will be giving out some scarves and some socks this holiday season.
What is your name, and what do you do at Mara Hoffman?
My name is Grisel Marquez. I've been with the company for four years and I'm a senior accountant.
How would you describe yourself outside of work context?
I consider myself to be a happy person. Anywhere I am, I'm always one of the lights of the party, engaging everybody, making sure that everybody is having a good time.
What's your favorite Mara Hoffman piece of all time?
It's hard to say because every collection has one special piece that you’re just like, "Oh my God, this is it." But there's this white dress—I believe it's called the Augustina Dress—this white, beautiful dress. I wore it to take family pictures in Cancun and every time I look at the dress and I see the pictures it always puts a smile on my face. And knowing it is a Mara Hoffman piece is even more dear to me because I love the company.
How would you describe your personal style?
I can go from very casual to very elegant—it depends on the occasion, but I would say elegant and sophisticated.

Today I'm wearing this beautiful skirt with a top. It's just so nice and so versatile. You can wear it together or separate, it doesn't matter. The fabric is amazing and I just love it. The other one is a black dress. It's so simple to put on and so sophisticated at the same time. You could dress it up or dress it down depending on the occasion. It's one of my favorite pieces of this collection.
What are some pieces you're looking forward to giving or receiving?
I’m looking forward to spending time with family. This Christmas we are doing Christmas at my house and so far we are expecting about 20 to 25 people, so it's definitely going to be fun. Since there's so many people, of course, there’s going to be many gifts to buy and exchange. But [I’m planning on gifting] a lot of experiences and gifts to motivate people and incentivize them to take time for themselves and relax. It's definitely going to be a lot of yoga mats and water bottles and candles and anything that can help them to focus on themselves.
